HIGHSIDE

The High Side is more than just a flight park. It's our mission to create a paragliding community that can come together to do some good in the world.

It's set on a 600m section of coastal cliff at Karioitahi beach, New Zealand. Located on Auckland's wild west coast. It's a dedicated takeoff secured for free-flight activities like Paragliding, Speedflying and Hang Gliding and is supported by SkyWings Paragliding. It's also one of Auckland's premier paragliding training locations and includes ambitious community focused ideas for the future. It's located on a 35km length of coastal cliff stretching from the Waikato river mouth in the south to the Manukau Harbour mouth in the north. This makes a 70km return flight a common and breath taking occurrence.
